Since my previous fashion post <<Wardrobe Wishlist>> I thought I'd give some recommendations and guides on upgrading your existing wardrobe by incorporating new classic pieces at a budget. A $20 bill. Other than the black bag, everything featured above cost less than $20 from cndirect.com.
Cult NYFW staple. Wide legged pants that are comfortable and flattering for most figures. Also a way to incorporate laid back and contemporary style into an everyday work look than just ordinary black skinny pants. Feel free to play with textures, prints and colors too.
Black vest with an understated edgy and sexy flare. Perfect to be worn with black skinny jeans and heels, tuck-into minimal high waisted shorts, worn over/under a patterned skirt for a grown-up vibe. Endless possibilities!
Loose Plaid Top
Style it with black knee length pencil skirt and stilettos for work. For a dressed down ensemble, I would wear this loose plaid top with ankle length fitted joggers and a pair of cool sneakers.
